Arnaud Frobert graduated from the Institut National des Sciences Appliquées
(INSA Lyon) in 2002. After an internship in the development of after-treatment systems at RENAULT S.A., he began his career at PSA Peugeot Citroën.

From 2005 to 2006, he also worked for VOLVO Powertrain as Engine Documentation Architect for Medium Duty engines.
Since 2006, he has been working for IFP Energies nouvelles (IFPEN), first as Research & Innovation Manager and then as Innovation Project Manager. His activities have led him to give graduate and postgraduate courses at IFP-School, Mines de Paris and EIGSI.
He has authored or co-authored more than 20 publications and conference papers and 6 patents.

His areas of expertise are propulsion systems, the measurement and treatment of pollutant emissions, and more recently air quality.

Arnaud Frobert co-developed the REAL-e system (on-board and connected measurement of combustion pollutants – Smart Emissions Measurement System) and is now in charge of developing and promoting the ELEMENTS sensor (measurement of pollutants by UV spectroscopy), which is integrated into the IFPEN FLAIRBOX and REAL-e pollutant measurement systems.
